Kimberly D. is a multi-talented and gifted designer of several art mediums. Her grandfather was a tailor and encouraged her love for sewing as a child. As a teenager and college student, she worked at businesses specializing in fabrics and alterations. She received a degree in Fashion Merchandising, but continued her formal education to receive a degree in her first passion...Fashion Design.

She’s a world-class dressmaker; designing, drafting, and creating her own stunning wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses at the age of 23.

She put her fashion design career on hold to raise her two sons (and one husband). While her boys were in grade school, Kim harnessed her energy into creating and developing a reading program for kids who were struggling to keep up. When she was finished, all those kids met the state requirement for their grade level. When the boys were in middle school, she coached the science team and took them to a 3rd place finish in the state of Texas.

Now that the kids are grown, Kim has returned to her love of fabric, sewing, wearable art, and other projects for you to treasure. Anyone who knows Kim, knows she’s too humble to brag on herself even a little bit. So her husband Mike wrote this section, because nobody is prouder of her than him.
